I think that Hyper! will win this one, and then, I hope for a good final. I mean, the Intel Championship final was coL vs Hyper, and seeing as they've already played eachother on the playoffs, it should be a good final to watch.
It was on source tv. I watched this match, and believe me it was a pug allstar hodge-podge pub fest. These guys were running around with no strats, rushing with no purpose, and splitting up all over the place, especially Hyper!. A disgrace of a semi-final pro-league match. coL is going to wipe the floor with Verge, neither of these two teams seemed to have a clue the entire match.
rofl we had a clue, you wanna know what our strat was djpoopz ? we called it zero respect and it worked really well :)
[edit] Just so you guys know, im sorry to say that we weren't prepared because of the CEVO roster lock we had to play with two players from forbidden, Paradox and Struk. Granted these players played extremely well for us. Now think about this, do you wanna try to force teamwork and strats and chemistry when none exists. We played the best playstyle that we possibly could, and it worked.
If thats what you want to call it Griff, so be it. Nobody wants to watch guys running around, pretending they're in a pub, and if you think your "zero respect" strat is going to work against coL, you'll find a huge difference in outcome.
#16 if it gets them the win, which it did for Hyper's case, it doesn't matter now does it? whether or not it will work with coL is another case. sit back. relax. and enjoy the show.
We are gonna do our best vs coL if a more prepared team out there coulda taken us down they would have, but it didnt work out that way. We earned our way here by winning and we will do our best against coL <3 everyone
Just read your edit Griff, and your second comment, I didn't know about the forbidden players, and your completely right in that respect. Also, Struk played amazing for you guys, that guy has some ridiculous aim. I hope to see you guys and Hyper! play some serious matches once you get a solid stable roster.
student A: omfg i hate this test. let's not do it. omfg if no one does it, then he can't fail ALL OF US? the whole class: omfg lololol
1 week later:
Student A: hahaha i failed but WE ARE IN IT TOGETHER! whole class: ah i only got a B? Student a: i thought we agreed we weren't gonna do it wtf omfg i got an F
well apparently hyper and verge agreed not to record demos, but hyper lost and disputed verge. Verge having no demos to show, gets the match overturned leading to hyper going to the grand finals and obviously losing to complexity.
it's kinda lame to dispute a team that won CPL in a top tournament... it's like if during 1.6 3D was disputing coL in CAL-I...
everyone would be like "wtf #bad ?" but i guess in CSS it's common sense :O
these 2 teams probably played each other about 100 times already. really lame move from Hyper. Again, Verge isn't much smarter, but i personally can't play while recording, drops so much the performances...
if there was no agreement which im sure there wasnt then hyper probably had a just reason could have something to do with struk being so amazing they just wanted demos reviewed.
Hyper! vs. verGe
Preds?
Hyper! > verGe imo 16-10
and source tv isnt online.
hooray for professional e-sports.
no source tv.
match just ended tho. verge > hyper

That was awful - even though hyper got totally rolled verge didn't really do anything different strat-wise to hyper, they just had better aim.
Awful match, they should be ashamed :P
[edit] lol griff <_<
Secondly wat was wrong with those strats they seemed pretty standard to me
didn't see this happening ;x
#24 is a smart cookie
apparently hyper is sore losers and hates losing online
