AMD 6000+

alot of people told me that the AMD 6000+ should give me 100 constant fps w/ drops to 80 with out a fps config but it goes to 100 and then drops to 40, any tips how to get 100 fps w/o a fps config :D
If we look at today, 1.6 isn’t dead; it’s just got less support.

Check the affinity of the Counter Strike program while playing, do this by hitting ctrl+alt+delete and going to process tab and right clicking counter strike source, then click set affinity. Turn off 1 core, play for a bit, cut it back on. Sometimes that helps.

Also, whats your video card? source is way more cpu, but that could be doing it, check your drivers, etc.

plus 1.6 is still much, much bigger than source, just not in America

turn down ur graphics fewl if ur dumb enough to buy a amd 6000 then u probably have a shitass videocard thats bottlenecking u

im using a 4000+ and get 100 constant. you're doing something terribly wrong to get 40 fps

i have a 8500 GT,
#6 do u use a fps config?

...thats like a $20 graphics card, no config will save you, spend >100$ on a gfx card and get at a 9600GT or 8800GTS 512 or 8800GT
