The trolls attempt to affect an impression of contempt, but that lie is exposed by the act of trolling itself. True contempt is demonstrated through indifference. But all this effort committed towards trolling is the exact opposite of indifference.
It's the same concept as the kid in school who bullies other kids, but is really only doing so because he's insecure about himself, and the bullying helps him assuage that insecurity. But you know what? It would best if the little idiot would simply stop being insecure in the first place.

People that play 1.6 like 1.6 and people that play source like source. The only obvious advantage to source players in the arguement is that most source players are converts from 1.6 like myself. I have legitimately played 1.6 and source both and prefer to play source over 1.6 for gameplay, pace of game, angles, and realistic physics, nades, and flashes (not graphics.. physics. look up the word). Most of the 1.6 players' arguements are void because none of them have actually given source a legitimate try as far as playing a competitive season of cevo-a, cevo-m, cevo-p, or CGS or tried to play in a competitive lan(keyword in this sentence is LEGITIMATE). All 1.6 converts that have given it a legitimate try in any of those leagues or LANs have stayed with the game for whatever reason they choose.
If you choose to stay in 1.6 so be it, stay in 1.6. You aren't gonna change anyones mind by trolling on the gotfrag forums, and you aren't gonna change anyone's minds with stats on pub server
