Could go either way. Both teams are known to perform on LAN, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't seen enough of Salvo's play to elaborate on this, but obviously they're a solid team. Gj on beating the Core.
I think Optx will have some trouble against Salvo on CS:S. I saw Salvo vs Core today, and I can say that Salvo won pretty much because of Rattlesnk's AWP, and some other Salvo guy that won a 1x3 as T. If it wasn't for that, I am positive Core would have won, and advanced to the finals.
Rattlesnk is playing insane good with that AWP, and mOE and GRT will have to do something about it on the finals, or it will be hard for Optx.
Optx might afford to lose 11 - 7 or something on CS:S because on the other games, they are probably better. It will be interesting.
A lot depends on the map. For some crazy reason, Salvo has been playing dust2 on almost every important CGS game. That is insane, since dust2 their best map or one of them. Playing something like train or season would be interesting too :)
#6 It seems there are more cameras breathing down necks in the NA season though, ie more coverage. Rofl is a pretty strong word to use, I would seriously question your sense of humour but you're entitled to it anyway :)
In the past seasons, before 3d entered source, the core of the Optx team consistently dominated on LAN, but got beaten a couple of times online (Verge etc?). I'm talking two or three years ago, as I remember it being discussed on these forums. They look as if they feel right at home when on LAN, and they're loud. On top of that, the game is played on American soil, so perhaps all of this will work in favour of the Optx. But again, nothing is decided yet, so it might not even matter which team is more proven on camera or on big LANs. Will be fun to watch no doubt.
so what was seen as best US source team just got beaten. Sorry guys best go have another draft and mix the rosters up even more, sure it will work out ok.
It'll come down to doa, I say optx have this in the bag unless messy and sarahlou manage to keep close scores on doa, or css is a complete blowout in favor of salvo. the other games can probably go either way.
optx can beat salvo easily in css, core wasnt working right in that game. salvo lost to furia.css 12-6, do you think salvo is that good? optx is going to handle salvo in 3 or 4 of the 5 events
With the OPTX recent play in CSS they should dominate the slumping salvo team prob 12-6 or 11-7 and the rest of the games should go to OPTX with maybe salvo winning 5-2 4-3 in forza.
If optx(cs) can win or keep it close then the rest of OPTX's players will win.
I expect ninjacw, vanessa, and stermy to win their matches so like I said, as long as OPTX.cs can win big or keep it close I think OPTX will take the win.
Optix will win the franchise fairly easily imo, their doam and team venessa will 5-0. CSS won't matter unless it's a blowout. They just need a close loss.

When it comes to CS:S I guess Optx will have some trouble against Rattlesnk's AWP.
mOE's performance will be important on that game.
