Its an engine update they won't change much. Crouch bug will be removed, peekers advantage and possibly bunny hopping, maybe if they feel like destroying the game they mite add achievements.

i recently played dods and i didnt even know i was winning achievements...its prob for pubs only anyway, i doubt you would get a 5 HS achievement in a scrim, and if they do well....o well
I think achievements will be a good addition, if they're fairly difficult to get. So long that no dumb rewards are given (such as extra health, silent movement, ninja knife throwing, etc) for gaining them it won't make any change to competitive play.
I wish the same too. Problem is the engine is also designed for people on damn dial up connections. which the lag compensation is really for. Though if you play source at lans, there is no problem with the peeker advantage. Hopefully future games will start to exclude people with crappy Internet connections..
#19 doesn't like the idea of having to calculate the odds of getting to a spot on the map before the other team. He'd rather make his own odds by mastering an exploit.
It's pretty bullshit when Ts can get out of SA2 on Mill before you can get all the way down the mid ramp.
#27 how is bunnyhopping an exploit? Pretty sure its considered a toned skill in which anyone can learn and use - hence why it is legal is most leagues now

Achievments would make the game fun, not ruin it in any way. You can just ignore them if you don't like it for some reason.
