I'm having the hardest time realizing that Vtl is one of the best teams in NA now. Maybe after their EU lan results we'll see for sure how they stack up to other teams.
I just need to stop thinking of pro source teams as the old teams from the past and that every decent new pro team are cheaters.
We need to support them if they really do end up going. We need a strong representative there; I am tired of hearing how bad NA CS:S is, so good luck Lloyd and crew!
Hopefully none of them do but it is so hard to be a fan of top league source now without any LANs. The people playing in cevo-p and esea used to be the same people that the community thought cheated 3 years ago. Some people still believe that some of the players cheat.
I would love for the community to get over this, "if they are doing well, they must cheat," mentality. Unfortunately with so some many players gone after cgs and no lans there is no way to measure the accomplishments of teams now.
I would love to think that VTL is the best team in NA but it's hard to say that while the community is still in the shadow of the CGS.
Look, I enjoy watching your team play, I think you do a lot of interesting stuff and you are clearly one of the best teams in the US, but your success started immediately after CGS died and the teams stopped practicing so hard. I have a hard time believing the timing was coincidence, so yeah, you are squarely in the shadow of CGS, and I don't think anybody but you and your teammates thinks otherwise.
On top of that, I lost a lot of respect for you after what you pulled last season in the playoffs, and the fact that you are still allowed to play in CEVO at all speaks volumes about the league and about the state of our game in my opinion.

i think it is funny, all the euros say american SOURCE IS currently BAD, but read old threads. NA is always making fun of euro. i guess they are having their time in the sun now.
i hope vtl can go to EU and take home the i-series.

There was a live stream done by TGBF.TV where Schetter was shoutcasting and some of Showtimes Money Crew AKA Gosu were caught in Cyber Rev's vent ghosting from the live stream. I was in vent with Schetter after everything happened and he had a copy of the vent recording in which they got caught and it was pretty blatant what they were doing. Calling out where the bomb was going at the beginning of rounds, calling out the hp of players. It was only two members of Gosu who were in there and I don't recall which two it was. Crev was disqualified and I think the CORE ended up beating the Venom to win Cevo-P. Later on they took back the disqualification on grounds unknown to me and somehow they ended up winning the whole thing.

GG to x3o they're our favorite team to play against they always seem to be on the verge of beating us lately. We're preparing for the Euro LAN and it really isn't about the money for me but the chance for me being from N.A. to do well in Europe. Thanks for everyone following us !
#28 That's like saying "I was walling half of a map and just making calls to my teammates and it really didn't help us out". Either way you cheated, and you clearly didn't even need to cheat to win as you proved by replaying your matches. I just don't understand why you were even allowed to keep playing as you should have stayed disqualified after the incident.

It's nothing like walling, it was 3 rounds of one map in semi finals they just happened to be in our channels and telling us, we weren't like hey guys we're going to lose this tell us where they are...Either we were allowed to play again and it was fun and we proved we could win without those few calls.
I already gave them credit. I said that they obviously could win it without those calls, but the fact that they LET them sit and ghost in their vent to gain an unfair advantage over the opposing team. Whether or not it helped or not is irrelevant, seeing as it was against the rules and still could have easily helped you out. Frozt you missed my main point. I wasn't directly comparing walling to what you guys did. All I was doing was making the point that either way you cheated and still should have never been allowed to replay your matches.

#42 and im sure they were still playing at the same level as before and not at all diminished by an already in progress switch to 1.6, which is why TLR and crev had a combined record of 1-9 against CGS teams (with the 1 victory against FURIA) in CEVO when they were still under contract and at their peak, right?

Before cgs died we beat cgs teams all the time in matches/scrims/everything. They were NOTHING special and we beat them with 0 trouble. Just cuz they had a salary and a fancy team name does not = good.
