Counter Strike Source LAN Tournament
We would like everyone competing in the tournament to be at the venue by at 11 am on Saturday December 5th, so that we may complete the registration process and to allow you time to get set up for first matches at 1pm. Below I have listed the rule set and map rotation for the first day.
Once all teams are eliminated down to finals, win/loss records will be cleared. Remaining teams will play three different maps. The first map will be chosen by the highest ranking team, the second will be chosen by the opposing team. In the event that a third will be needed it will be chosen by PC-Gamers Network.
Match Config
Match config being used in this tournament will be MR-15 style, with $800 start money.

vortex might attend, most of our players have attended gxl's and stuff like that.. so you may see us. We shall see, really interested tho.. it's fun and I want to help out the cause.
#32 One day someone will walk up to you and ask you what you have done with your life. The only response you will have is, " I used to be a horrible forum troll" Then you will realize, that in all your life you have accomplished absolutely nothing, you attempted to make friends online (but failed) by posting things that you (and only you) think are humorous. You will grow old, alone, and die a miserable old man who's only accomplishment in life was being stupid and failing at everything you ever did.
Just want to thank all of the players that have prepaid, I have a few very nice sponsored items that will be raffled off to those who have prepaid. We have a regular raffle as well, but this is my way of expressing thanks to those willing to commit to our events.
Event entry is $15 prepaid or $30 at the door, and the tournament is $250/team, with additional backups at no charge(must be registered with the team during the registration period.)
Prize pot is dependent on turnout, as the entry paid goes directly into prize pot. It is a 100% in 110% out prize pot. For basic figures, there will be $1000 for every 4 teams in competition. I will take some money out of my pocket to increase the pot, but once again dependent on the number of teams competing.
We are expecting 15 teams at the moment, which would net a payout of $3000/$500/$250 before my out of pocket contribution. I want to keep the 1st place prize at $2000+, so if fewer teams show up, we will drop or decrease the payout for 3rd then 2nd to keep the 1st place pot at $2000
