From rambo's own mouth, he said he's playing source right now because he doesn't have to practice at all. His team just plays the matches and thats pretty much it. To be top in 1.6 he would have to put in atleast 25 hours of team practice a week.
#20... rambo was a top player on the THE top team in source at the peak of this game. The top players don't play this game anymore. In the CGS he was consistently an outstanding player. Perhaps he just plays casually now and his game has taken a slight decline but who cares he is still a fantastic player. Id love to see your K:D ratio at that LAN if you went.
good, some people dont have time to sit on a computer for 25+ hours a week just to play counter strike 1.6 with 5 other dudes and constantly go over strategies and such. I loved that game but source is just so much more fun to look at, and you're retarded if you think Rambo or any other player on the level of Rambo actually needs 25 hours a week to "practice" the game hasnt changed that much map wise, so strategies are the same and they didnt just over night forget how to lay 1.6 . Its team chemistry, being able to throw nades and timing everything right in order to succeed because 1.6 is a more team oriented game in which a player with more knowledge than the other comes out on top. as to where source requires little strategy and alot of aim if you plan on being better than the other team, because its not whos got the better strategies but who runs out in the open and starts pickin people of with an m4 runnin. Source is straight, i cant believe people still care about what game "Professional players" play its sad. they are normal people that are mad nice at a video game, im sure you know alot of those people, just not ones that dedicate their life to a computer screen to be pushed to the next level and be considered a proffesional gamer..lol
i dont know who Juan is... and i dont care what any of you say you can try to aim as hard as you want but when my team is coming on a full rush and youre blind because the flashes they were supposed to throw worked youre going to die.. #28 are you dumb? i said"1.6 is a more team oriented game in which a player with more knowledge than the other comes out on top" theres alot of things that factor into knowledge of the game... ie how to Aim..retard.
#29 Juan is in my opinion the best strat caller source has ever seen, sure you can have really good aim but if you aren't playing smart you'll most likely fail unless you are playing against people who aren't good. you could go against someone with a much better shot than you but if you play smart you have a chance :)

Brilliance is, the best brilliance is brilliance born not from someone ignorant
#29 Juan was a strat caller and leader of verGe, Pandemic, Forbidden and 3D.NY, he played in The CGS S2, and is probably one of the smartest players this game has ever seen, and like #30 said, the best caller this game has seen.
Sapphire once said that they have more of a chance to get Heaton to play again instead of Juan.
Rambo quote
It's more casual for them, and they don't have to practice as much.
