Counter-Strike Source: EverLAN Registration Open

Registration to the CS:Source Invitational Tournament has been opened for EverLAN's Winter event in Denver, CO. Prize money distribution has also been released.
After a short delay, the EverLAN organization has announced more details regarding its ATi sponsored Winter event taking place in Denver, Colorado. With this announcement comes the open registration to its Counter-Strike: Source Invitational tournament. What this means is that teams may register to be considered for a spot in the 32 team tournament. Staff members as well as prominent members of the Source community will then decide who the 32 teams will be. The tournament is to take place in the Dever Merchandise Mart from January 20th to the 22nd of 2006.

With a prize pool of $21,000, the format will be a double elmination bracket to be played over two days. In addition, EverLAN has announced there will be various BYOC tournaments for non-competing members as well as other sponsor-ran activities. More details are still to come such as exact rules and tournament computer specifics.

The cost is $250 a team which covers a tournament spot, a BYOC seat for five members, and entry to the entire event.
