Counter-Strike Source: EverLAN Source BYOC Tournament

Colorado based LAN tournament host, EverLAN has announced the expansion of its winter event adding a CSS BYOC tournament as well as several other BYOC events.
EverLAN Expands Tournament
(Denver) - EverLAN has announced the expansion of its winter tournament to include 6 BYOC tournaments to coincide with the NIT CS Source tournament headliner. The EverLAN tournament is a popular Colorado LAN event that has been a player and fan favorite over the past few years.

GotFrag is pleased to announce that we will be on site with full comprehensive online coverage. Coverage by GotFrag for this event will include live real-time melee, scoreboards, scorebots, Source TV, Gamesense© statistics, previews, interviews and reviews.

The following is a list of the tournaments scheduled for EverLAN Winter 2005:

ATI NIT $21,000 Counter-Strike: Source Tournament
EverLAN is proud to announce the reemergence of the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) at the EverLAN Winter Championships! The featured game for this tournament will be Counter-Strike: Source. Counter-Strike has proven to be one of the most exciting teamplay games in the world, and the latest installment of the game features unprecedented gameplay mechanics and graphics.
The National Invitational Tournament will take place center-stage at EverLAN begining on Saturday morning and lasting until Sunday afternoon. The top Counter-Strike Source teams from around the country will be in attendance for a shot at the $21,000 cash prize. Registration and information can be found here : http://www.everlan.net/nit/.

The BYOC tournaments will consist of the following:

Quake 4 - 1 v 1 Combat Tournament
EverLAN is very excited to announce our first Quake 4 1 v 1 tournament! The highly anticipated addition to the Quake series from id Software is due on shelves, and we are pleased to add it to our great tournament offerings.

World of Warcraft Challenges
Blizzard is partnering with EverLAN to bring World of Warcraft to the LAN community through the use of official tournaments, prizes, and contests. EverLAN will be providing the place for people from around the country to bring their computers, meet their guildmates in a safe and fun environment, as well as the internet connection to support hundreds of people in their explorations in the world of Azeroth whether they be horde or alliance.
We will be hosting fun competitions such as scavenger hunts, leveling competitions and other in-game challenges. Some special prizes to be won will include a very rare Murloc Pet and a Limited Edition laser-etched cel of "The Fury of Blackrock Spire" and other goodies. Blizzard will be providing cool prizes such as posters, action figures and T-Shirts for WoW players and contest winners.

Battlefield 2 - 8v8
EverLAN is very excited to announce our large scale team based game will be Battlefield 8v8. Tournament rules, details and prizes will be announced soon.

Warcraft III: Frozen Throne - 1v1
EverLAN is very excited to announce the RTS competition will be Warcraft III: Frozen Throne. Tournament rules, details and prizes will be announced soon.

Counter-Strike: Source - 5v5 BYOC
EverLAN is very excited to announce an additional Counter-Strike: Source tournament for the general BYOC attendees. Tournament rules, details and prizes will be announced soon.

Unreal Tournament 2004 - 4v4
EverLAN's is happy to announce the Unreal Tournament 2004 team based tournament will be a 4v4 competition. Tournament rules, details and prizes will be announced soon.

At the time of this writing, total registered teams: 50+, invitations extended: 30, pending invitations: 10, confirmed/paid teams: 5.
