The four day World Cyber Games Samsung European Championships get underway with the Counter Strike Source Tournament.
(Germany) - Play begins today in the Official WCG 2006 Samsung Euro Championship Games. The competition, being held at CeBIT in Hanover Germany, will take place over the next four days. 250 players from 25 countries will be competing for $100,000 in
seven different games. The Counter Strike Source tournament takes the spotlight as 18 teams from nations across Europe have assembled to compete in the prestigious competition.

Play in the Counter Strike Source tournament begins Thursday 14:00 CET/ 6am CST with a "Start" Round that will place four remaining teams into the Double Elimination Tournament. SEC normaly just invite the attendees of the last WCG but as the squad that went to WCG2005 is no more they asked us if we would like to attend this event as just "Team UK" but myself and Rig refused, im unsure what LittleBear,Shift and Splatio said.
