Defense
Setting up your defense on CPL Fire can be very simple for your team or very difficult. CPL Fire is not your basic Dust2 where everyone does the same exact thing round after round. With so many choke points this map can be played with many different set-ups to cover them. The basic set-up you will see will be the standard 2-1-2. With the 2-1-2 set-up your players will be spread out so far that they will have no back-up if the enemy is heading their way. With the 2-1-2 you will have one player watching A tunnels, one covering short A, one in middle, one watching upper B and the last player watching lower B. Another set-up that you can experiment with would be a 1-2-2. This set-up involved a bit more team work than the basic 2-1-2. You send one player to A and his job has to be to stop them from coming out of the A halls if he spots them. You have to have two players playing middle, perferably the two that work best together. Their job in middle is simple, pick as many as they can as the offense tries to push middle and short A. If the guy at A needs help the AWPer in middle can turn around and assist him and there will still be a player watching middle for any last second pushes the offense might try. The two players playing B are doing the same thing, just sitting back and waiting for the enemy to come to them. With this set-up you dominate middle and have guys in postion to rotate fast if needed.
