| Check - Six

vs
Forbidden

|
Casey - To say that these teams have turned heads this season would be a gross understatement. Check-Six, sitting at a stunning 16-2 record has had no trouble breezing through the competition on their way to this match. Forbidden, while certainly having a tougher time than x6, has always picked up the slack in the post-season to earn the recognition they deserve. By working hard and overcoming odds, Forbidden is now playing for the Invite championship a second time, where verGe was expected to be a shoe-in.
Forbidden's Cinderella stories seems to happen often, and somehow they manage to stay in games that no one expects and upset teams that no one thought could lose. However, in all their trials they have yet to seal the deal and earn the coveted Invite championship. Check-Six certainly has, however. And these two teams have met before, with the result less of an upset but an expected routing. Everyone, including Forbidden, knows the odds are stacked against them. This is David having to beat Goliath twice in one night. And as I'm sure everyone loves to root for the underdog, that's not what predictions are about.
With the same coordination we've seen all season long and the egotistical confidence that makes them take a hit, say "no thanks", and roll over opponents, Check-Six will be no different Wednesday night. Where Forbidden will yet again work as hard as possible, Check-Six will not give any chance to upset another powerhouse. With a defensive start, excellent coordination, and uncontested skill Check-Six will hand Forbidden another respectable second-place finish.
Check-Six > Forbidden 16-10
Guest Predictions -
dev|sasquatcH`8 - With the addition the ex-pg check-six team has been revived with a new attitude of practicing. It seems to have paid off as x6 is now sitting pretty in the upper bracket final. Forbidden has been on a blitz through the lower bracket after losing to check-six. In a rematch that no one foresaw I see Check-Six taking Foribidden 16-12 behind the strong play of train allstar moe (36-0 ct side WTF?).
dev|areS`8`2oF - Ok, well if they (x6) get defense first, I say 16-5, if they get offense first, I say 16-10.
mib`ginxty - Team Forbidden will have their work cut out for them. x6.css comes into this match hopefully well prepared, as much as I have seen Forbidden turn it around mid season, I do not think they have the fire power to stop x6.css win that cal-invite tittle. Look out for Warmachine and Moe to drop big numbers. 22-8 in favour of x6.css
peekay - Forbidden has made a strong finish this season, proving while going through this season's playoff brackett that they are contenders. Checksix are on top of their game, and with Forbidden having schedule issues haven't had the chance to prepare as much as they would have liked. Checksix will take the first map 16-9.
verGe\adam - ya check 6 win on the first map, Clown will have a big game as usual. x6 > forbidden 16-6.
verGe\H3L1X - 16-9 x6 on Train.
