The US team zEx has recruited the Swedish CS:Source team Adastra.
After an amazing victory against the German giant Animosity at SLKS #9, the Swedish CS:Source team Adastra today was announced as zEx's new team.

This move is part of a restructuring process that has been allowing zEx to expand itself into multigaming. Some weeks ago, zEx decided to recruit Brian "destrukt" Flander, who opened zEx's Quake 4 team.

"We are very proud to have team Adastra now representing zEx in Counter-Strike: Source. They demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and sportsmanship and we truly believe they will be able to perform and exceed the very high expectations of our fans," said zEx manager, Naveen "insomn1a" Gavini.

Ths move may sound somewhat strange to the community as CS:Source won't be used in any international LAN competition, unlike last year.

"We already have an american CS 1.6 team. We were looking at games we can expand to, Source was not near the top of the list; however, when an offer to pick up a team of such high caliber came along, we couldn't refuse," Gavini said.

When questioned about the team's upcoming tournaments, insomn1a stressed that the team has a tight schedule ahead and that it will attend several LAN tournaments in the near future.

"The team is participating in CAL-Europe, Eurocup, GameOn and TWL. You will be also able to see them in action at the upcoming European LAN tournaments."

With this, zEx's Counter-Strike: Source team is consisted of:

Sweden Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson
Sweden Jonas "Nordqvist" Nordqvist
Sweden Joacim "majk" Kroon
Sweden Peter "caine" Wäliima
Sweden Fredrik "vizzion" Nilsson
