Justin “sunman” Summy of coL fame joins Source team EF Gaming while Johnny “cLaRK” Clark steps down. Summy was recently released along with Corey “tr1p” Dodd by compLexity after the team achieved less than desirable results at recent events. His teammate Dodd joined the Canadian Team EG not long after, and many fans were expecting Summy to join another 1.6 team as well. “Well at first I was considering joining a 1.6 team because I didn't know any of the current Source teams out there. After I was approached by EFG, they told me they would like to try me out for their team. So I decided to scrim with them a few times,” said Summy. “There isn't too much time before CGS begins and EFG has the most experience and talent in Source at the moment.” This makes for an interesting decision made by EF Gaming. The team had been finding great success with its roster and it would appear that there is no need for a change when the same five continue to win. The roster has had a long history together, dating back to the days of PowersGaming with all of their members, Warmach1ne, cLaRK, mOE, clowN, and p0s, being on that team. To make room for Sunman, cLaRK will no longer be a starter, and according to teammate Trevor “p0s” Randolph, has decided to quit in order to put more attention into his band. “Although we have been very blessed in the past and were able to win all the LANs we've attended recently, we always felt like we could be better,” Laurent “Warmach1ne” Keoula explained. “With all these new teams switching over to Source and all these free agents available, the time was right to make some changes. The person sitting out will be cLaRK. Basically we didn't feel cLaRK will be able to put out the effort and dedication we will need to maintain our status as the #1 Source team.” Furthermore, their newest addition in Sunman has never played in an official Source match before as he had been completely focused on 1.6 with his former team. “My first reactions to Source were more positive than I thought,” commented Summy. “Back when Source first came out there was many bugs and I didn't like it too much. It's still a lot different than 1.6 but I am enjoying it for the most part thus far. Hopefully I will be able to pick up on Source fast and I'm sure it will be a lot easier playing with the best Source team.” Keoula went on to say, “We were looking at 3 different players and Sunman stood out the most. His attitude and his commitment to becoming better will make him a great addition to our team. We feel that he will be able to improve very fast by playing with us, and we will also learn a lot from him since he’s such an experienced Counter-Strike player. He knows what it takes to win and that’s what we're looking for.” This results in a starting roster of: Laurent "Warmach1ne" Keoula Trevor "p0s" Randolph Moe "mOE" Assad Yazan "clowN" Ammari Justin “sunman” SummyThe new roster and CGI 07 champions will be looking to qualify for the Championship Gaming Series later this year. |

#9 I think CGS would be more like the birth of a career. I mean, they will be contracted and be "apparently" competing for more money the CPL has ever seen.
Gl to sunman and efg
personally i dont think he's going to last very long, but who knows.
[edit] #14 ftw.
too bad you left me sunman :(
glad to see some source teams picking 1.6 players to compete
scared of 1.6 teams? =\
I don't understand that.
