Eximius Sports Press Release Thursday February 1, 2007

Statement from Brad Dick

Today, we regretfully say that Jon “bigwie” Wie is no longer with us. We felt that it was not working out with him. Jon has an aim on him that is outstanding. However, we felt that there was not a good communication between him and the rest of the team. We recommend any team to pick up Jon “bigwie” Wie. Regardless of the rumors, he is a great person and a great player.

Eximius Sports has replaced Jon Wie with two new magnificent pick ups. We are proud to say that Jarrod “remix” Shaw and Zack “CannoN” Cannon. We feel these two players have the experience needed to bring this team together. Everyone knows that Eximius Sports has probably one of the toughest draws the first two weeks of play in CEVO-P. We have lost every match; we hope to turn that around with these new players. Jin C. the leader of the Eximius Sports Counter-Strike Source team has agreed to go inactive to get this team where it needs to be. That shows true dedication to his team and the betterment of his team; he is a great leader. He will still be available whenever we need him.

Jin “jin” C. Statement

I have decided to step down as a starter and go inactive. The team was having some problems that needed to be fixed. The team felt a major change was needed, whether it be we break up entirely and go our separate ways or go through a total revamping of our roster. I won't go too much into details, but there were some ideas thrown around by each member of who to pick up and also of possibly quitting. I decided this was the best opportunity for me to step down and go inactive. I had lost most of my motivation and interest to play anymore, and I thought it would be best that I leave instead of someone else. It might be just a little break that I need, but we'll see if I ever want to come back. For now, I will just play here and there with some friends. I have too many shout outs to make, and I'm not completely sure I'm officially retiring, so I will just say it was fun playing with and getting to know many of you. Lastly, I wish this new Eximius team the best of luck, and hopefully I will feel I made the best decision for the team.

When asking Jarrod “remix” Shaw about coming to Eximius Sports he says,

“I am here to help make this team win CEVO-P. Brad called me up a few days ago and asked me what my goals were. I told him that I want to be in CGS and try and further my Counter-Strike Source career there. He told me that he felt that he can help me do that by coming to his team and working with the lineup he already has. I guess I got lucky when getting a great player like Zack Cannon to step in as well.”

Chris Moffa comments

“I think with these few little tweeks we can finally compete with these other top teams. It is going to be hard to win it all. But, we now have the tools to finish in the top three at least!”

New Eximius Ladies Counter-Strike Source team!

We are proud to have a ladies division. Eximius Sports is all about promoting eSports. We hope to point these ladies in the right direction. They have great ambitions and goals for their future as a team. Make sure you check them out in the IRC channel of #exSports
