Domination in the 2006 CS:Source LAN scene put EFG on top once again, but the entrance of several 1.6 teams into the scene has shaken up the rankings. It is has been quite a while since the last rankings update, and much has taken place in the Source community between then and now. Several LAN tournaments have gone by, as well as a myriad of changes within organizations and teams. But when the dust is wiped away, who now stands on top of the professional competitive scene? North American Rankings
January brought the welcoming of several 1.6 teams to the Source competitive scene, and after just a few weeks, four have made its way into the top ten. Following a successful year, EF Gaming retained its spot on the throne while receiving just over half of the first place votes. However, newcomer compLexity has been quickly establishing a strong reputation within the Source community. Dominant play in the early weeks of CEVO led to coL earning four FPV’s and coming in second despite not having any accomplishments in the game. verGe continues to be a dominant presence in the scene despite recent roster changes as the team was voted a solid third. Hyper’s recent play propelled them to the fourth position, well ahead of x6, who came in fifth. 3D’s roster has Source experience, but two early losses in CEVO put 3D in 6th and well behind the top four. EG has shown they can compete in Source with their new additions to the team but two forfeit wins has allowed for limited action from the EG lineup, resulting in a lower ranking. Ranking Rules
General Ranking Notes: 1. Sorry, but there are not rankings for Europe or other regions at this time. 2. The voting panel includes representatives from select organizations involved in the Source community and teams in the professional community. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

that is all
col>3d>efg so efg makes 1st on that.. somehow
but since x6>3d you actually follow that and put x6 over 3d.
1st = coL
2nd = 3D
3rd = EFG
4th/5th = verGe and Hyper
2. Hyper
3. Verge
4. EFGaming
5. x6
6. 3D
kthxbai
with a huge win over efg, they've been undefeated on traditional maps
i mean, their losses were on season and losttemple. lol. and efg first? no.
3D
verGe
EFGamin
Evil Geniuses
Check Six
Hyper!
JaX Money Crew
Revolution Sports
Flow Gaming
when coL plays efg, then we'll know who should have that number 1 spot
In my opinion:
1. compLexity
2. EFGaming
3. Team 3D
4. verGe
5. Check-Six
6. Hyper!
7. Evil Geniuses
8. JaX Money Crew
9. Revolution Sports
10. Flow Gaming
#25+#30 I hope those are in no specific order
But with the lack of training compared to the other teams (Especially coL) it is hard to put them as 1.
Understandable why they are 1 right now.
But wait until the LANs and see if EFG take it more seriously.
I say let EFG vs coL on 3 occasions minimum, Team that wins the most is better, So stop your stupid ass accusations that coL should be number 1, They have done jack SH*T compared to EFG Source-wise.
coL has defeated verge, a top source team and 3D a top 1.6 team changing to source, no idea why EFG are ahead with their win-loss statistics.
Yeah yeah, blah blah all about EFG on LAN but coL has more LAN experience than EFG not to forget they now live together in a house, practicing in LAN conditions. And this EFG is different to the EFG of 2006, so stop your stupid ass accusations that EFG deserves to be number 1 (using your exact words #42).
