Counter-Strike: Source makes its 2007 major LAN debut this weekend at shgOpen, with 33 teams from around the European continent descending on Denmark for a shot at the victory. Some notable organizations are represented in the field, such as Against All Authority, ALTERNATE aTTaX, Logitech.fi, digitalMind, and n!Faculty, along with a score of Danish teams looking for a home-field upset.

The teams were divided into 7 groups of four and 1 group of five for the initial group stage. As in the 1.6 tournament, the top two teams from each group will advance to a double elimination bracket, while the bottom two will play in a single elimination bracket for hardware prizes.
