Counter-Strike Source: Nightfall, EFG to recruit new team

The EF Gaming organization has announced they will be adding another CS:Source team to the organization under the direction of Jacob "Nightfall" Stanton.
U.S.A. - The EF Gaming organization has announced that the organization will be searching to fill the roster of a new CS:Source team. The players will compete as a completely seperate roster from the already established EFG team. The new team will be under the direction of former Hyper! leader, Jacob "Nightfall" Stanton. Stanton had just earlier today announced his departure from the Hyper! organization. Stanton had this to say about the new team "I think that this time around, with control of the team and doing things the way I want to do that it will work out well."

The team will be looking at players over the next couple of weeks and hope to have a complete roster very soon. The expectations are to compete in the next Championship Gaming Series qualifier and to have two teams in the series. EFG owner and manager, Matthew "Erd" Grover, tells GotFrag, "As of now we have two players as our starting point. NightFaLL, and clowN (Yaz "clown" Ammari) and over the next few weeks we will be looking to build a team that can compete for a CGS spot."

Grover was very concerned that everyone understand that this will not affect the current EFG CS:Source team lineup. Grover says "As you know Brex(John "Brex" Atwell) and I are business partners, and a management team. We have decided that we would like to manage two teams instead of just one. Much like some Nascar organizations, etc." He went on to say, "This isn't a replacement team, or second team, or an addition to EFG... It's a completely seperate team that will be supported and sponsored by Brex and myself. I would really like to stress the fact that this is in no way a replacement, substitute or an addition to EFG. We're completely happy with EFG just like it is, and this is a completely seperate organization/team. I think it's important to snuff out some of the rumors that have been floating around."

Grover goes on to tell GotFrag that the team will be looking at players over the next couple of weeks with Stanton in charge of the picks and leading the team. Grover was asked what it was that his organization could provide players that other organizations could not. He replied by saying "The only thing we can do to help them get in to CGS is to provide them with the means to prepare for a qualifier, and give them the support and stability that a team needs. Essentially all the players should have to be concerned with is playing the game. Other than what is required to physically get them there, it comes down to allowing them to concentrate on becoming a better team."

When asked what the benefits for his organization were in adding another separate team were, Grover stated "As for what our benefits are, we already have one top team. And we would like to have two, the best problem we could be faced with would be our two teams fighting it out in the finals of a tournament."

Jacob "Nightfall" Stanton and Yazan "clown" Ammari are former teammates. They were part of the PowersGaming roster that won CPL Summer 2005. Stanton and Ammari both competed in the previous season of CEVO Pro Source, Stanton with Hyper! and Ammari with EFG. Both players have long histories with the CS:Source community and stand a very good chance of being selected for the Championship Gaming Series hosted by DirecTV.

The new team name will be... Heroic.
