USA - The first in a series of online qualifiers for CS:Source teams in the Championship Gaming Series is taking place and the tournament has moved into the first round of double elimination. These qualifiers are being described by CGS as "a series of online tournaments that will advance winners to the Regional Combine for the opportunity to compete and possibly become a candidate for the draft."

32 teams, including the likes of U5, EG, JMC and Devastation, faced off in a single elimination bracket and the top four teams have advanced to the double elimination round and will face off tonight. The Hyper lineup minus Nightfall, faces Remix's team "sex pistols" as a familiar name to the CS 1.6 crowd, zEx, goes against Visual Gaming.
