Louis "Red`" Nyberg steps down as a Counter-Strike: 1.6 gamer, moving to Counter-Strike: Source on a full-time basis. Nyberg earned rave reviews for his perfomance in the tournament, and the former 4Kings talent was even used in a bootcamp against Made in Brazil, but he insists that his future will not be in SK. The Swedish talent says SK has other plans for the Swedish team and that a new fifth has already been found by Andreas "bds" Thorstensson. "Looking at the CS 1.6 scene, all of the Swedish teams are full, and that includes SK," Nyberg told GotFrag.com. "I've always had offers from 1.6 teams, but none that were really appeling." ![]() "I've been wanting to play in CGS for a long time and when I heard about the European qualifiers I thought: Why not? Here was my shot so I took it," Nyberg said. "If we don't make it into the CGS I'm not really sure what i'll do (...)" Nyberg teams up in EYEballers with experienced Swedish names, like Niklas "NightMan" Ruth, former member of Begrip Gaming, or Marcus "Rattan^Maja" Persson, who played for redWhite in the EuroCup tournament. The EYEballers Counter-Strike team is composed by: Christoffer "Helblinde" Nilsson Daniel "giftig" Ivarsson Louis "Red`" Nyberg Niklas "NightMan" Ruth Marcus "Rattan^Maja" Persson |

he wasn't that good anyway
Wish him good luck with EYE, instead of saying he went source so he must suck. >.<
But the team still isn't that great.
How did you people MISS that part?
gl red anyway!
1.6 is obviously slowly dying now - not due to source but due to valve. he's picked a good time to switch over.
nice for css dont say its for the money, if he dont like the game he dont play §§§
hes got a chance to make a living out of something he loves to do, he enjoys the game so why not?
And yeah, it seems as though the only reason people are dissing him is because he switched. If he had joined SK or a different established 1.6 team, everyone would be singing his praises. Kinda pathetic, but sadly also very expected from the 1.6 community.
I feel bad for the bad players 1.6 and money hungry people saying that they kind of like Source.
At the end of the day, any DECENT player will choose 1.6 over source anyday.
Just think about this; Why did the majority of the 1.6 players switch to source(barely any in Europe)?
Answer: Money. People dont play source because its a well made game. They play Source because it is that much easier to learn and lets not forget the prizes CGS offers compared to any other 1.6 leagues.
