Kat Hunter comes in under the radar of the Counter-Strike and PC community but don’t let that fool you. She is one of the most qualified of the CGS General Manager selections.

Hunter sports a long history of competitive gaming herself with Ubisoft’s Frag Dolls. She was a member from 2004-2006 and toured the MLG Pro Circuit. She has competed in a host of console titles and PC titles and is well respected and known in the console community. She also brings to the table a nice body of work in eSports journalism with GameTrailers/MTV Networks and other varied media outlets. Her articles and video work speak volumes as to her knowledge of eSports on the whole.

Hunter’s management skills have been honed in the last year with her work in advertising/marketing as producer/manager for EVB in San Francisco and she is considered by insiders to be “overqualified” for her position at CGS. Kat Hunter will now assume the General Manager duties of the Championship Gaming Series San Francisco franchise.

Are you sure there isnt a typo? Alex Conroy in Texas, and Jason Lake in CA? Isn't it the other way around or do they go by first-come.

No, it's not a typo #9. That is what coL wanted.

Kat Hunter is "overqualified", lol. Apparently being a Frag Doll and writing a bit about esports makes you comparable to the likes of Jax, Jason Lake, Moto, destrukt... yeah right. Every other manager has actually accomplished something. It's blatantly obvious she was given the position to be a pretty face. As if this whole thing wasn't enough of a joke already.

Nice article, nothing against Gotfrag at all. I just think it's clear that someone was trying to defend her early because they sensed the incoming (justified) criticism.

and like everyone else, i had no clue Jax was so young. What he's done at his age is really impressive.

Out of all the General Managers, she is the only one that is known for her marketing work. She is also the only one who has played, and constantly kept up with console titles. She does not have the name of a lot of the top CS managers. However, I guarantee if you ask any one of the GM's what they think of her as a choice; they will say she was a great choice. She is plenty qualified for the position, and to say otherwise is ridiculous.
Shag: When he teases me, it hurts.

#14 > #13.
and if you think about it, the rest of the GM's are not at all bad looking.
