![]() 10-2 record in CGS Champions of CEVO CS:S S3 with a 14-1 record Complexity LA is coming off a nearly flawless CEVO P Season 3, where they took only one loss to Hyper!, and took home the $5,000 first prize. They also finished first in the CGS standings for CSS, although the rest of their franchise kept them out of the playoffs. With the strong leadership of rambo and zet, this team looks to be unbeatable. LA Complexity: storm fRod Warden zet Rambo ![]() 14-1 CEVO S3 Runner up Hyper is heavily favored to finish well this season, and they also had a nearly perfect CEVO P Season 3, going 14-0 before losing to 3D in their final regular season match. Hyper then had a rough time in the playoffs, losing twice to Complexity LA and once to the old verGe team. Despite their CGS crown, they had lackluster CEVO results from last season—they’ll be out to improve those numbers now that shaGuar and Grt have been able to join the team. Chicago Chimera: lari tr1p Stevenson Grt shaGuar ![]() 5-7 CGS Carolina Core was the last team to make CGS playoffs but due to the strong performance of the rest of their franchise, they were able to make their way into the finals. They were an underdog throughout the CGS season from draft day (their selection was met with derision from many) all the way into the playoffs. Just like Chimera, Core needs to improve their CSS game with practice in CEVO P so that they can contribute more to their franchise. Their CEVO P performance last season wasn’t quite as good as they expected, but GM Kat Hunter says her team is rested, “hungry, and ready to play.” San Francisco Optx: Warmach1ne moE p0s clowN phamtastik ![]() 6-5 CGS 12-3 CEVO S3 New York 3D turned in decent performances in CGS and CEVO P Season 3, but failed to capitalize on their playoff opportunities in both leagues. 3D will no doubt turn in a good season, but the real test of their mettle will come if they can reach CEVO P playoffs. Knocking off a team like 3D.NY in the CEVO P playoffs will be the perfect chance for a non-CGS team to make a name for themselves. New York 3D: rectOOOR Method Volcano KSharp Lin |
