We're packing up and moving out. Next weekend GotFrag TV will be live on the floor at Newegg LANfest2K7!

Next weekend's Newegg.com LANfest2K7 event promises to be one of the most exciting to hit North America this year. Much of the hype resides with the fact that Newegg will play host to not only a CS:Source tournament, but a 1.6 one as well. Add onto that a veritable gaming tapestry of today's top competitive titles and you can see why this will be an event to remember.

Although you may not live in sunny southern California, you have nothing to worry about. You can experience all the major action LIVE as it happens. Thats right, GotFrag TV will be on site and and ready to bring you all the play-by-play you crave and the wrap ups and highlights to bring each day into a personal perspective.

Look forward to full feature content coverage of..

The Counter-Strike: Source 5v5 $10,000 Tournament

Competition here will be top notch as the inclusion of every CGS team has been verified. This will be a great opportunity for teams not currently in the CGS to take on the drafted. Can a team like United 5, or Eximius take out the high salary rosters? Or will teams such as Turmoil or Pandemic show them all that they are deserving of the same recognition. Upsets and letdowns will be in abundance as the teams come face to face in California. GotFrag TV will be there live to provide you with the best streaming coverage in eSports.

KODE5 USA Regional Qualifier - CS 1.6

Turmoil, Check-Six, wcR and MindScape are all on the list awaiting approval to join the list of teams to compete in KODE5 USA finals early next year at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. First however, they need to prove that they are the best in the country by placing top two here at Newegg. Those teams will receive a $750 travel allowance and accommodations at the finals event. Tune into GotFrag TV for the select highlight matches you want to see.

So much more!

Of course, Counter-Strike is not the only game showcased. Day of Defeat: Source, Guitar Hero 2, and even Super Smash Brothers will all make an appearance as the weekend progresses.

How to watch:

GotFrag TV uses Octoshape technology to stream video in order to keep video quality at the highest possible level, and so that everyone can tune in.

You can download the plugin HERE. It is extremely easy to install.

The only other requirements for Octoshape to work are that you will need to have ActiveX enabled and Java installed. Please make sure you have the Java runtime on your computer. For those without it, you can download it here.

You can tell Octoshape is running because there will be an icon in your system tray. If you right click the icon, you can manage your Octoshape settings. Below is a screenshot of what the Octoshape settings look like; they are fairly straightforward.
