In the first match of the tournament, Turmoil, one of the most highly regarded teams in attendance was brought to a tie by vANSKAP! With strong play from lesser known players such as trerobinson and monook, vANSKAP! was able to come back in the second half and finish the game in a tie.

The tournament admins have advised that overtime will not be played during the group play portion of the tournament, so it will now depend on the outcome of other maches on whether Turmoil will advance.
