Counter-Strike Source: World GameMaster Tournament Australia

WGT Australia Finals in Sydney as part of Atomic Live 07


The World GameMaster Tournament in Australia put 32 CounterStrike:Source teams to the test in an online single elimination knockout phase. The top 6 teams advanced to the tournament finals this weekend at Atomic Live 07 held at the Sydney Showgrounds at Olympic Park, Homebush. The 6 remaining teams will fight it out for a $4,000 team cash prize as well as winning a gaming package for each team member.

Each winning team member will receive:

- ASUS Quad-Core based Motherboard
- 2x High-end ASUS Graphics cards
- INTEL Quad Core CPU

The tournament has been changed to a double elimination. Match times have been changed to be flexible so set times for matches will be wrong. SourceTV relays have not been provided by tournament organisers. Score updates will be posted as soon as the matches have commenced.

Due to further time restraints tournament organisers and team captains have agreed on playing out the remaining matches using the MR9 Format
