Counter-Strike Source: Sequential Gaming New Lineup

Havoc and Deathdog leave Imminent for Sequential Gaming, iZ joins from excelsioR

With Team Imminent being drafted as CGS Franchise Sydney Underground's Counterstrike:Source team, two founding members of Imminent, captain Luke "Havoc" Paton and Josh "Deathdog" Edwards, found themselves without a team after being unable to compete in the CGS competition due to age restrictions.

Both players have now joined the CSS division of Sequential Gaming, one of Australia's most respected gaming teams. The move came just at the right time for Havoc and Deathdog with the GGCEVO-P comp coming up shortly and Sequential going through some major lineup changes, 2 of the most talented players in Australian source found themselves an opportunity.

"Joining SQL was really an automatic decision, I talk to their head managers fairly regularly, and they put the team they would like to see out there now that Imminent had been drafted."

When asked if there was any chance of Imminent being reformed after CGS, Havoc shares his thoughts.

"The move to Sequential is permanent for now. After Imminent's contracts end we will see what happens, it will be hard for me to play with new players. I haven't spent any time in CS without Huk, and Azad (Topgun) is like a brother.

Imminent are back home now and are beginning practice for Los Angeles in December. They are on 12 month contracts, so it would obviously be foolish for myself and Deathdog to stay within the current 2 man Imminent team. I explained to the CGS team we would find a new team if they got drafted, and they did"

Sequential Gaming manager Nathan "Nateus" Walton had this to say about the new additions.

"Havoc and Deathdog have had nothing but a huge amount of success and experience, matching their fragging ability with dblstR and OZi's leadership, i think this will be the SQL's source teams best chance to succeed at the highest level."

Sequential still need one more player to complete their lineup but at the moment its looking likely to be their strongest ever CSS team.

UPDATE: Sequential Gaming are proud to announce Mark "iZ" Bytschkow as their 5th player.

The roster at the moment is:
Australia Chris "dblstr" Galbory
Australia Austin "OZi" Bunney
Australia Luke "Havoc" Paton
Australia Josh "Deathdog" Edwards
Australia Mark "iZ" Bytschkow
