Counter-Strike Source: TheSGL announces Nations Cup

TheSGL proudly presents the Counter-Strike: Source Nations Cup, starting on November the 5th.
This single elimination cup will pit sixteen of the top Source playing nations head to head as they battle it out for the title. The only prize is national honor, but the teams selected promise to be of a very good standard, which will make for excellent viewing.

16 national managers have been selected for the event and will each be putting together a team to bring the cup home. The 16 national managers are as follows:

On Monday the 5th of November, the first round of play begins, and the teams will compete in best of three map matches. The eight remaining teams will face off on November the 12th, and then again on the 19th, after which only two teams will remain. The date for the final is currently unconfirmed.

The managers will hand in details of their selected teams on Monday 29th October and the teams will promptly be set up on theSGL’s website. The team lists will be released on Monday night / Tuesday morning, depending on when all submissions are received, with a comprehensive run down of who has been selected to represent their country in this international event.
