Counter-Strike Source: Eximius breaks up

After a sub-optimal performance during CEVO Season 4, Eximius members go their own way
Eximius Sports announced that two members of their roster have decided to leave, and the rest are slipping toward inactivity. Brian "zuH" Smith, and Kevin "Vu" Vu have officially left the team. Jeremy "McCl0udY" Muller has reportedly stopped playing, and Aaron "zero" Houglum has switched his top priority to school.

"I knew in the back of my mind that Kevin Vu not being contracted was going to create a problem down the road. However I did not think it would start this early. After they decided to replace Robbie "styro" Mueller I questioned where this lineup was going to go. I stayed positive, but I was shocked when AJ "zero" Houglum decided to be committed to school and work on his degree. I am proud of him for that decision though," Team Manager Brad Dick stated, "I was not shocked about Kevin wanting to pursue other options, Kevin has the ability to go to the CGS as an individual player in the future in my opinion."

Many teams have gone through Eximius Sports, but all suffered the same fate. From Revived to recKoning, none of them could seem to keep a solid roster when participating with the company. "All in all I had nothing to do with these teams breaking apart or dying," Dick assured me "Most of the community has a opinion that it is all my fault and every good team that comes through Eximius Sports dies because of me. You can ask anyone that has come through the organization that I am very dedicated to my squads, and will do anything and everything to keep it together.... The problem with recKoning, is that all players were contracted but one, Kevin Vu, Kevin had the power to leave when he wanted because he was under the age to sign a contract. The new team that I bring in will all be able to sign to keep stability on the team. This team will be contracted, if your not a CGS team it is very hard to keep a team from falling apart. Singing contracts insures that a team will not fall apart."

While the future of Eximius Sports CS:S may seem dim, Brad Dick remains optimistic in his pursuit for a highly successful team. "We will be either developing another 3-4 players for Eximius Sports, or we will be picking up another team. I would like to keep Jon "messiaH" Hammond on the roster becuase he is one of the best in game leaders that I have ever come across in eSports. We will be attending Winter CPL with whatever roster I put together, then after that the Championship Gaming Series Qualifiers."
