UK - Greetings from across the pond. Today is the last day of the i32 Counter-Strike: Source tournament. The Grand Finals are set, and in a surprise turn of events, fnatic's recently-salaried CSS team is not in it. Rather, the 3# seed Reason Gaming will be taking on CGS's Region 2 Champions, the London MiNT. The map is everyone's favorite, de_dust2.

London gets to the Grand Finals by way of the lower bracket, having been knocked down there by Reason Gaming themselves. They eliminated fnatic.css, the number one seeded team in this tournament, by a score of 19-17 in Overtime. The UK Lineup for The Last Resort also put in a good showing before being eliminated by fnatic.css 16-10 in the Lower Finals.

The tournament format for the Grand Finals is as follows: because London is the Lower Bracket Finalist, they must win the first match in order to force a second. In essence, London must win two matches to win the tournament, whereas Reason Gaming need only win one.

Reason will win, 1st time in four I-series events that fnatic have not been in the final. GL to MiNT, but with 3/5 of the Reason squad packing some "daynish dynamite" =P I dont see them loosing...

I know this is a late post but to be honest, The Last Resort done very well. Everyone before the tournament was like "Pez will make them fail, he's awful." But after viewing the his performances at the event, he only had one bad game.

I'm sure from here it can only get better for TLR, unless they decide to pull out the typical English attitude and argue and then fold.
