1-2-2 Apartment Push3D’s 1-2-2 apartment push is a steady push toward the netted bombsite via the apartments. 3D progressively clear the apartments, checking each room and spreading out through the building, before rushing to the site through the lower doorway and balcony. At the beginning of the round, Ksharp watches mid from the window, watching for any peeking defenders at the top of mid, and any rushing down banana to flank his teammates.

Rector and Volcano enter the apartments using the window above alternate mid, jumping to it from the truck. Using this technique, they are able to clear out the lower rooms of the apartments without having to open the grate, a much quieter route. Once they are in the boiler room next to mid, Rector and Volcano wait for Method and LiN to push up to the balcony.
When ready, the two players in lower apartments rush out into mid, turning round to the right toward the netted site. Simultaneously, Method and LiN rush out of the balcony and drop down into the ditch. Meanwhile, Ksharp has abandoned his window at the bottom of mid, and has rushed up mid to his teammates, meeting up with Volcano and Rector as they emerge from the apartments.
Balcony Rush3D’s balcony rush is a rapid rush straight to the balcony, intending to take the defenders by surprise. Once again, a quick rush mixed in with slow, progressive tactics adds variety and strength to an offensive playbook, making the team’s overall playing style much harder to predict. The tactic is fairly simple: rush the balcony, making sure to flash the site just before you step outside and jump off into the ditch.
The player leading the rush, in this case LiN, needs to throw only one flashbang to make a successful entry possible, perhaps by bouncing it against the wall next to the staircase, or dropping it down behind the light post into the ditch. Once 3D are in the ditch, or have jumped off to the left toward the site, they can throw more flashbangs to keep surviving defenders at bay while the bomb is planted. The defensive spawn side alleyway and the house are particularly useful places to flash, as well as the bombsite itself if your players have yet to step onto it.

Once the bomb has been planted, 3D takes up the holding positions shown above. Both Rector and Volcano are in the ditch, watching the defensive alleyway and balcony respectively. Ksharp is sitting quietly on the staircase at the back of the site, only peeking to help his teammates if absolutely necessary. LiN has swept around to the far left, and is defending mid from the corner. Finally, Method is in the house watching the defensive alleyway.
Slow Banana Push3D’s slow banana push is exactly that, a slow, steady push up the banana walkway to the bombsite. They start the round by rushing quickly onto the banana walkway, throwing flashbangs and smoke grenades over the roofs to blind any players at the top end. Once any sightless defending players have retreated, 3D begin to crawl up the path, all eyes locked on the corner, watching for any defenders who might peek back around. One player (overview screenshot #1) watches for any defenders trying to flank his teammates as they work up the walkway.

Once they are ready to rush, 3D throws a smoke over the first roof and against the side of the construction building, so that it lands in the alleyway toward CT spawn, blocking the view. Simultaneously, they attack the bombsite with a salvo of flashbangs, before rushing round and making their entrance.

Once the bomb has been planted 3D take up holding positions, three of which are shown above. Ksharp is hiding behind the column crates on the bombsite, looking toward construction through the small gap between the crates and the wall. Method sits behind the generator, watching for any rotating defenders pushing from defensive spawn or the banana walkway. Finally, Rector is standing quietly in the corner next to construction, waiting to ambush any players who might come through the doorway.
Delayed Banana Push

In this strat, 3D holds alternate mid and the bottom of the banana walkway momentarily, in search of early picks. They delay for a short time, taking the opportunity to smoke the top of mid and flash over the apartment walls, before rotating quickly back to the banana walkway. Here, they rush up toward the site, using their remaining flashes to hamper any defending players on the site. As 3D enters the banana bombsite, LiN sits at the bottom of the walkway holding the flank, ensuring his teammates are able to plant without fear of being rushed from behind.
