Kevin "aZn" Wang has been released from the CGS' Dallas Venom and Eric “Brawwr” Neer has been named as a replacement. Wang speaks to GotFrag about this surprising announcement and more.

(USA) - The Championship Gaming Series and the Dallas Venom franchise have announced the release of Kevin "aZn" Wang from the Dallas CS:Source roster to be replaced by Eric “Brawwr” Neer. The release of Wang stems from his appearance at the 2007 Dust-Off Championship where he played CS 1.6 on a pug team. The following is the official announcement on the Dallas Venom website:
Championship Gaming Series (CGS) is pleased to announce that the Dallas Venom team is adding Eric “Brawwr” Neer to the roster as a starter on its Counter-Strike squad. Neer will replace Venom CS specialist Kevin “aZn” Wang, who has been released as a result of a mutual decision by team and league management, effective immediately. Neer, a native of Orange County, CA, has been a pro gamer for three years and was previously the top performer on the Gravitas Gaming team, which placed fourth at the 2007 CGS North American Combine and placed second in the most recent CEVO season.

"I am very pleased to have Eric as a starter on Dallas Venom. He’s bringing a fresh attitude and great experience, having played Source for three years,” states Alex Conroy, Dallas Venom GM. “Eric is a great guy and an extremely skilled player, as shown by the fact that he has led x6/Gravitas to some great victories." - dallasvenom.thecgs.com/Welcome_Brawwr

This brings the CGS Dallas Venom roster to:
United States Josh "Dominator" Sievers

United States David "zid" Chin

United States Eric “Brawwr” Neer
