Carolina Core vs. Mexico City Furia

Carolina started Week 4 with a vengeance, taking out Eximius in a big way, 10-0. This puts the Core in 3rd place in the CEVO standings with a 6-1 record, with their only loss coming against Venom. Mexico City is still winless through the first half of week 4. Although the team continues to improve statistically, they have not been able to scratch out a win other than to a BYE and are sporting a 1-6 record.

No need to even play this ... hit the bar early gents!

Dark Molven versus noobzaibot, it's like a Godzilla movie made in Mexico City. Godzilla wins.
It hurts me to the Core to see our pal noobzaibot's team struggling. See what I did there?

Core wins and allows me to get ahead of Dolven’s winning percentage!
Carolina is en fuego lately! Even with roster issues, this will be no fiesta for the Furia.

LA Complexity vs. Eximius Sports

Complexity sits comfortably in 4th place this season with a 6-1 record, with the only loss coming at the hands of the Carolina Core. Complexity defeated a hot Dallas Venom 10-6 the first half of this week on Train. Eximius has had an up and down season thus far with a 3-4 record and one of those wins being a BYE. Eximius suffered a 10-0 trouncing from the Core in the first match night of Week 4.

Another lopsided match, just not as lopsided.
Tough week for Eximius with the Core and about to get a lot tougher.
I went for the upset last match, lesson learned.  coL by my age divided by five.
Eximius is just too inconsistent to beat such a talented Complexity.
Storm came out huge vs us last week, while Eximius struggled. coL takes it with eaze (Pick it up frod)

Dallas Venom vs. Electronic Gaming Evolution

Dallas is 5-2 this season with some big wins under their belt against the Core and 3D. The Venom fell to LA Complexity 10-6 the first half of this week. eGe have done well for themselves this season with a 6-1 record and the last of five teams with only one loss this season. eGe won a hard fought, overtime win against 3D in Week 4:1.

Venom wins much more comfortably than they should due to eGe's internet woes.
eGe was barely able to get by 3D, I'm liking Jax's boys on this one.
Even though eGe has a better record. This is the Venom's match to lose.
If 3D takes you to overtime you got problems, Dallas only because, “They will win more rounds than eGe.”
This should be a great matchup but I cant see eGe beating the likes of Venom's awps.  Sorry frenchies (cant wait to play with u at ETS!!)

Pandemic vs. x3o

Pandemic is rocking and rolling in first place with a 7-1 record thus far in CEVO Pro Season 5. Pandemic's only loss this season was to the Optx in Week 2, and come into the second half of this week with a win over XFX 10-3 in the first match night of Week 4. x3o seems to have found a groove with anger and mason as they are on a three match winning streak after previously being winless in season 5. Sitting at 4-4 on the season, x3o is coming off of a big win against the Optx  10-8, in a controversial match in the first match night of week 4.

Mason kicks x3o over the top, like he has the last two matches.
x3o has made a big turnaround but I have to go with the time tested lineup of source guys.
Great roster additions for x3o to be sure, but Pandemic has this one by Juan or two.  Yea, I went there.
I’m going with x3o in the upset.  Mason is picking this one up for me and its too easy to pick the favorite every time *cough* Singlecoil *cough*
Great matchup here, although Pandemic's chemistry will stop the rising x3o lineup.

The Last Resort vs. Team XFX

TLR comes into Week 4:2 with only one true win, against the Furia, giving them a 2-6 record with a BYE. The Last Resort were defeated by Devastation 10-8 in match night 4:1. Team XFX comes into match night 4:2 with an identical 2-6 record and one true defeat over Furia. XFX lost to Pandemic 10-3 in the first match night of the week.

XFX ... TLR has been downright disappointing, while XFX has a 17 man reality show crew on their roster (and groupies (casso)).
The talent is there but
XFX just can't seem to get motivated. Let cass0 play.
Beanie!
Beanie!
Beanie!

TLR in a barn-burnin nail-biter!

TLR was my early favorite pick but they totally screwed me lately so I’m going with XFX.  DON’T MESS THIS UP CASSO!
This is like watching two fat kids in a track race. I'm gonna say TLR in a close one.

New York 3D vs. Devastation

New York has continued to improve statistically this season but has still not been able to get a win other than a BYE and sit at 1-6. 3D was able to take a strong eGe team into overtime in match night one of week 4 but were not able to finish them off. Devastation has had an up and down season starting with an overtime win against Dallas to open the season and sit at 5-3 on the season with one BYE. Devastation defeated TLR 10-8 in the first half of week 4.

3D finally breaks through. Without a win here, some of 3D might be on unemployment post combine.
2D, the desire is missing.
This match is that "eye of the tiger" turning point moment that ignites 3D and takes them all the way to another CGS Combine Championship!

Hey 3D at least you finally forced a team into OT, lets try winning some night.  When they do maybe I’ll consider picking you, Devastation.
3D needs to get something on the board here. I'm surprised moto hasnt stepped in yet, 3D is in a crunch zone and they will come out with a W vs a weakened dev lineup.

New York Giants vs. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are on the verge of doing what only one team in NFL history has done; complete a season undefeated. Not since the 1972 Miami Dolphins has a team completed a regular season of the NFL and went on to win the Superbowl. The New York Giants went 10-6 on the season with big wins over Dallas and Green Bay in the playoffs to reach the Superbowl. The Patriots defeated the Giants in the last game of the regular season 38-35.

Pats all the way. You can't argue with Brady's play.
Didn't  these guys get banned for hacking?
Patriots win unless Giants dispute.
I bet the GotFrag TV budget on Patriots by 14.  Don't tell Santa Chen!

Since I’m now a New Yorker I should be picking the Giants but there’s no way they win this on neutral ground.
I hate the patriots (Brady's a pimp tho) with a passion, but as long as they aren't hanging out with Jessica Simpson the week before, they should take this one.
