Cyber Evolution enters Week 5, and here's hoping it's a bit more normal after the sheer craziness of the previous week. Optx and x3o played an Overtime nearly 4 days after their match, due to a rule controversy. Optx lost that overtime, and they are now in a first place tie (on basis of record) with eGe. eGe beat 3DNY in OT and lost to Dallas Venom, and Carolina, who added some craziness of their own. The Core was the first CEVO team with a shutout victory this season; going 10-0 against Eximius Sports. That was in addition to having a 10-1 victory over the Mexico City Furia. This week, Optx plays both Carolina and 6th Place LA compLexity who lost their second game this season to Eximius on Tuscan, a new map added to the CEVO rotation this season. This is truly the make or break week for many teams, as the playoff picture remains as opaque as ever.
