CEVO Pro Season 5 Week 6:2

x3o vs. 3D.NY

Like a sleeping giant, 3D.NY came alive this past week with three straight wins for a combined 30-3 point difference over opponents after being winless on the season up to that point. x3o is in fifth place in the CEVO standings with a 7-4 record. After starting the season 0-4, x3o has won six straight with wins over The Last Resort 10-9 and Devastation 10-2 in Week 5.

x3o is on fire and 3D is attempting to come back from the dead. If 3D has the fire, like I think they do, they should take this in a close one.

ITS ALIVE! ITS ALIVE! Like the alien in... Alien, Ksharp pops out of some guy's chest and frags everyone.
3D started season off great vs BYE. They really need more matches without another team playing. Looks like x3o has this one.

Mason will own KSharp's face and keep the winning streak going.
This should be a close one, I'm putting my marbles on 3D just for the fact that they have won the last 2 matches by a lot. Hopefully now they realize their potential and will start playing like they should.

Dallas Venom vs. The Last Resort

Dallas bounced back from defeats in Week 4 to garner wins over the Furia 10-1 and Eximius Sports 10-7 in Week 5. The Venom is currently in 6th place in the CEVO standings with a 7-3 record after five weeks of play. The last Resort have had a rough time in CEVO this season. At 3-7 for the season, TLR currently sits in 11th place just above XFX and Furia. TLR suffered a loss to x3o in overtime for the first part of Week 5 and received a BYE for the second part of the week.

See 6:1's TLR pred. I wasn't joking about the cheating. Serious.
Venom Money Crew show TLR a little Texas hospitality.
Brawwr has a great name. You can add all the As and Ws you want and it still sounds the same. This means the Venom wins.
Dallas after a loss to OPTX should bounce back against TLR, "If you kill
all five enemies you win the round!"
Dallas starts again CT side and I already assumed they beat OPTX so I'm gonna go with them rolling this match ... They are lucky with the coinflips!

Guardians vs. Pandemic

The Guardians hold down the number one spot in the CEVO standings after 5 weeks with a 9-1 record and the only loss being to the Core in Week 3. The Guardians took down Complexity 10-7 and Furia 10-2 in Week 5. Pandemic is holding down 4th place in the CEVO standings after 5 weeks with an 8-2 record. Pandemic gave the Carolina Core quite a bit of trouble in Week 5 with a 10-8 win for Pandemic and received a BYE for the first part of Week 5.

Tough call ... I like Pandemic in this one. The old eGe's well documented internet woes  and "big dog" status make them ripe for the loss.
The Guardians are playing well but I'm gonna go with the old verGe lineup for the upset.
Pandemic looks really great on Nuke. If nickn0it gets on fire as CT I think they are unstoppable.

Guardians are looking to maintain their lead in CEVO and as much as
Pandemic has impressed me lately. I like Canadians to keep their CEVO
lead.
Now here is a match thats perfect for a map like nuke. Im going with an "upset" on this map with Pandemics randy pushes frustrating Guardians and causing things to fall apart.

Devastation vs. Carolina Core

Devastation is in 7th place in the league with a 7-4 record after 5 weeks of play. Devastation won a 10-5 match over XFX and suffered a sound trouncing from x3o 10-2 in Week 5. The Carolina Core remain comfortably in second place in the CEVO standings with an 8-2 record. The Core split Week 5 matches with a 10-5 win over the Optx and a 10-8 loss to Pandemic.

Find the spark dev please ... you have the talent why aren't you at the top of the heap?
The Core will take down the other brother here.
I liked that Devastation went back to their old name. I get too confused with all the name changes. Least I will know what team really lost to the Core in this match
Core should make it 2-0 for the week as they are clearly the better team
here.
Who knows because I know I dont! As much as I love dev they wont have "Condition & Fundamentals" to help them win this match. Core will end up grabbing more T rounds than dev would like. Sorry! +}

Eximius vs. San Francisco Optx

Eximius currently resides in 10th place in the league with 4-6 record. Eximius suffered a big loss to 3D 10-1 and another 10-7 loss to the Venom in Week 5. The San Francisco Optx currently reside in 3rd place in the league with an 8-2 record. The Optx suffered a significant 10-5 loss to Carolina in the first part of Week 5 but redeemed themselves with an overtime win against Complexity in the second half of the week.

At least Eximius wont lose as bad as TLR, XFX, or Furia would.
Not a good week for Eximius and Coach Dick.
Moe’s green gun goes boom. Eximius fancy Latin name won’t save them.

Again how do you lose to 3D 1-10? Optx wins.
Optx are a very good team and Im sure everyone know this but their emotions go up and down faster than hasselhoffs boobs while running on baywatch.  I still expect them to rebound after I predicted them to lose to Venom

LA Complexity vs. Mexico City Furia

Complexity has lost three in a row with losses to Guardians 10-7 and Optx 10-9 in Week 5.Complexity is currently in 8th place in the CEVO standings with a 6-4 record. Mexico City remains in last place in the league and remain winless. The Furia suffered defeats at the hands of Guardians 10-2 and 3D.NY 10-2 in Week 5.

 HAHAHAH

Get the crash cart ready ...  Being a CGS team doesn't make you a good team. Someone somewhere is regretting letting this team in CEVO-P

A true David and Goliath match, AWPs over slingshots.
In 2002 MFA walked into the CPL with the coolest jerseys in the place. We looked great losing. Just like Furia will.

This is the Alamo in reverse, Texans with the clear win.
awwmannnn, I think Furia need to get their manager to play because I'm sure he would put up more DAR then 4 of their players from last match. I still love them but they need to do a lot better then that to grab 2 rounds on col... especially with coL CT side.
