Counter-Strike Source: Da Bears joins Eximius

After playing experimentally with the clan for a short time, Da Bears has moved to the team in anticipation of the CGS Combine.
In a announcement on their website Sunday, Eximius sports released the name of the new starting fifth for its Counter-Strike Source roster.

Erik "Da Bears" Stromberg will be filling in the spot left vacant earlier this week following the departure of Brian "zuH" Smith.

While Stromberg is still legally under contract with x3o, the team's General Manager - Nick Fitz - condoned the situation. He elaborated that Stromberg was not quite joining Eximius but rather preparing with them for the CGS Combine.

"After speaking with both Erik and Eximius, X3O decided that it would be in all parties best interest to allow Erik to participate in and prepare for the CGS Season 2 Combine. He will be released from his contract with X3O if he does get drafted by the CGS, however not to join any other teams or organizations full time."

Brad Dick, Owner and Manager of Eximius Sports gave glowing praise to Stromberg.

"Erik is an exceptional player, I remember watching him even when I first started gaming around eight years ago or so. In some ways his hard work and dedication has fueled me to be a good manager. Players like him are good for eSports and he needs to be in the CGS."

The change is effective immediately and Stromberg will be playing for Eximius in all forthcoming CEVO season matches.
