H2k.css, a French line-up formerly known as STUD, has won the first season of the ESL Major Series, earning themselves $3,300.
In the Grand Final, H2k defeated fnatic 16 - 9 on de_train, after winning the first half 11 – 4 as Counter-Terrorists.

Fnatic were sent to the lower bracket in the first week of the playoffs after a 21 – 18 overtime loss to Czech team eSuba. As a result, H2k only needed to win one map in order to take home gold and bag $3,300 (€2250).

During the playoffs, H2k beat n!faculty, Begrip (formerly Seven.pro) and eSuba, entering the grand final undefeated. Fnatic lost their first playoff match versus eSuba, but managed to defeat c23, Begrip and WebOne in the lower bracket. In the consolation final, fnatic faced eSuba once more, a game which they were able to win 16 – 9, before entering the grand final with the 2 map handicap.
