CGS Combine challenge matches for CS:Source are underway.
Challenge matches are underway in Austin at the 2008 CGS Combine and Draft for Region 1. General Managers have been allowed to call challenge matches between teams and certain players. For most of these matches will be a mix of protected and unprotected players, giving the managers a chance to see different players interacting with their protected players. Stay tuned to GotFrag as we bring you live coverage of the challenge matches today and the Draft later this afternoon.
#1 anger...they had to play with HickEEy yesterday because anger was technically still under contract by Guardians, and the Guardians made that public AT the combine.
#5 Sad how Guardians went to that trouble to sabotage part of the competition, and now they still only have an 0 - 2 record to show for it. And neither loss was even very close.
#16 These are all challenge matches that could include a mixture of players... I'm sure 3d (in some form or another) will be in action sometime today. It will be up to moto as to who he wants to see....or not.
These are almost all pugs for gms to get a look at different players. 3D has played in a couple of different pugs, Ill try to give a few more updates as that info is recorded by cgs.
#24 yea they waited for him to play with them for 2 months + fly across teh country before they did that + he had already the go ahead to leave + play with x3o in cevo (but no contract bs there for w/e reason)
they played thier challenge matches with thier full team as did we. The score for our core match was 10-7 not like it would have mattered if we won anyway tho since no gm watched any of our matches to begin with.
This combine was a joke and alot of people got screwed, but congrats to my friends at pandemic, carson and brawrrskiiiii.
AZK is by far the best player on Guardians. It's really no surprise they didn't perform well and it sucks for him that he was too young to attend the combine, he would have been drafted.

It's hard to give scores unless you know all the pug combinations being used...thanks for whatever info you can get.

Pretty funny how badly they start to fail after the whole flash exploit was figured out.
