Newbury, UK � 112 teams are in attendance, all competing for a slice of the �10,000 prize pot. The Counter-Strike: Source tournament is both Turn up and Play (TUP) and Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC). The addition of TUP to this event has drawn in more top European teams than ever before, and the event is shaping up to be one of the most competitive LANs in Europe this year.

The tournament begins with a group stage, which started at 6:00pm GMT on Friday. Each group holds three teams, with the top two teams advancing to enter the double elimination bracket. The grand final for Counter-Strike: Source is currently pencilled in for 9:30pm GMT on Sunday, although it is subject to change.

GotFrag is live on-site in Newbury to provide up to the minute match scores and updates along with SourceTVs, interviews, photo galleries, Dr. Gonz0 blogs and more!

mint - reason was incredibly close though, reason made some excellent plays in various site retakes and site holds. I really thought they were gonna take it.

#27 not really, the top 5/6 teams are all capable of beating each other on any given day, look at the last lan IG5 for example. Mint and Salvo did very well at this event granted.

for anyone that doesnt know, fnatic + logitech were playing on some horrid pc's (I believe they were amd quadcores) theres screenshots of them with 30/40fps. Fnatic were also in some booth with no vent on there pc's etc with Guitar hero setup right next too them.... so yeah... i wouldnt expect any team to perform with those sort of surroundings and setup.

Salvo already proved they could hold their own against usa css #32 (MiNT didn't I grant).
