The landscape of Counter-Strike: Source has changed once again. It's time for the CEVO Season 6 Professional Placement Tourney! Coming on the heels of the CGS Season 2 Combine and Draft, some of the old CEVO-P mainstays have a new look about them, and since no CGS team will be able to participate in CEVO this season (due to CGS Season 2 commitments), this is the chance for a new crop of Source teams to step forward, and stake their claim for the $10,000 Grand Prize awaiting them! Eximius Sports is once again rolling out a substantially different lineup for this season, and they're not the only ones. Former Pandemic player Grant "Griff" Hall has found a new home with former members of Check-Six Gaming and the One-Eyed Zomblerz to form the '94 Knicks, while former CGS players Derek "exodus" Heidinger and Justin "sunman" Summy find new homes with the Knicks and Team x3o, respectively. It's a whole new season, with all new teams, so it truly is anyone's game!

The format will start with round robin, with the top 3 teams from each group on basis of CPI will advance to the bracket proper, which starts next Monday. The top 8 teams will join the other 3 teams already guaranteed a spot in CEVO-P (defending Champions Dallas Venom, Carolina Core, and the One-Eyed Zomblerz) to play in CEVO-P Season 6!
