Counter-Strike Source: Devastation roster overhaul

By: Rob Maher - Published May 17, 2008 at 1:08 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Devastation's Counter-Strike: Source team has departed with three players, replacing them with three old faces.
Due to differences in approach, Devastation has been forced to make changes to their roster. The team has decided to remove deppy, dubs, and tech from the starting lineup, effective immediately.

"We consider deppy, dubs, and tech to be top players and have the utmost respect for their skill, however, at the professional level it takes more than just skill, it takes a great deal of practice, desire, and a unilateral approach to developing a cohesive playing ideology." Miles "Scorpion" Carmello, Devastation's Manager, told GotFrag.com.

With their departure, comes the return of some familiar faces in Anger, railmo, and Nibbler.

Carmello had this to say about their new recruits, "We are very excited to welcome back Todd "Anger" Williams, Dan "Railmo" Locilento, and Derek "Nibbler" Gangi to our roster. The culmination of our team chemistry is evidenced by our decisive victory over the Carolina Core on May 15th."

The team can be seen competing in CEVO-P and any upcoming Source LAN events.

The Devastation CS:S roster is now as follows:

United States Stephen "sasquatcH" Csikos
United States Matt "ChEekz" Csikos
United States Todd "anger" Williams
United States Dan "railm0" Locilento
United States Derek "Nibbler" Gangi
