Counter-Strike Source: MiBR.css returns to Rio Sinistro

By: Jack Westerman - Published May 28, 2008 at 8:28 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Made In Brazil’s newly established Counter-Strike: Source line-up has been invited to play for the Rio Sinistro CGS Franchise once again.
Just under two months ago, the Counter-Strike: Source team of the Rio Sinistro dissipated. Bruno "bruno" Ono, Raphael "cogu" Camargo and Renato "nak" Nakano rejoined their former team, Made In Brazil, and subsequently competed in the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament at the KODE5 World Finals. Norberto "Lance" Lage and Jorge "Jorginho" Elias became inactive.

Now, MiBR’s newly created Counter-Strike: Source team, unveiled just two weeks ago, has been invited back to the Rio Sinistro CGS franchise by General Manager Paulo Velloso. In effect, it means the return of bruno, cogu and nak to the league, while Lance and Jorginho have been replaced by KIKOOOO and fnx.

After their brief stint with Source prior to the 2007 World Finals, the Rio Sinistro was able to secure a 2nd place finish in the Counter-Strike: Source individual competition, losing only to Complexity in the final. The 2008 CGS World Finals are scheduled to take place at the end of July, and the new Rio Sinistro line-up will once again be in the fray.

The new CS:S roster of Rio Sinistro is as follows:

Brazil Bruno "bruno" Ono
Brazil Raphael "cogu" Camargo
Brazil Lincoln "fnx" Lau
Brazil Carlos Henrique "KIKOOOO" Segal
Brazil Renato "nak" nakano
