Several weeks ago it emerged that Stockholm Magnetik's General Manager Emil "HeatoN" Christensen had attempted to replace his number one draft pick Sondre "REAL" Svanevik with Marcus "zet" Sundstrom. After this move was blocked by the CGS, Christensen instead attempted to enlist Daniel "giftig" Ivarsson from 4Kings, and managed to get him onto the roster before flying out to Los Angeles for the CGS World Finals. Unfortunately, this left 4Kings with only four players.

Today, the organization has announced the addition of Jon "netion" Holmström. Holmström is a 20-year-old, Swedish 1.6 convert. With a modest team history in 1.6, and recent experience playing with Christofer "Helblinde" Nilsson and Martin "tyron" Jeppsson, two current 4Kings players, it would appear that Holmström is adequately suited to the role.

New addition Jon "netion" Holmström had this to say about the move:

"6-7 months ago I switched to source instead of 1.6, and back then I played together with Helblinde and tyron for a while. When that eventually went down the drain I went back to 1.6. One month ago Tyron asked me to play with these guys again, and I didn't hesitate to say yes! So here I am and I'm really glad to play Source again! I am also very proud to be a part of 4K and I will do everything I can to make them proud of me."

4Kings Assistant Manager, Ian "Javax" Leckey also released a statement over on the 4K site:

"I'm delighted that netion has come in to fill the void left by giftig's departure. The team have had it hard the last few weeks and patience has been strained at times, but everything's finally come together nicely. You'll see team's first performance this month at The eXperience, and again next month at i34. netion will fit brilliantly in to the team, not only for his playing skill, but also because he lives close to the other 4 members of the team, which will benefit team practices and bootcamps."
