Counter-Strike Source: CEVO-Pro Season 7 Preview

'94 Knicks

United States Gary "Funshine" Laurita
United States Derek "exodus" Heidinger
United States Cory "BADAPPLES" Branagan
United States Rich "sauce" Cannon
United States Grant "Griff" Hall

The '94 Knicks were a top contender last season. They formed from the ashes of players who were dumped or left out to dry by their previous teams. They took the second seed in the regular season, and rode that all the way to a third place finish.

With the entire CGS talent coming back to online play though, it's hard to imagine they'll be able to do that again. After all, they're still trying to win game 7.

Recent Accomplishments:
3rd place CEVO-P Season 6

FD`zomblerz

United States Carson "classified" Holt
United States Justin "heatwave" Mckay
United States Andres "misty" Gunaratne
United States Trevor "p0s" Randolph
United States Frank "ridic" Savettiere

It looks like the zomblerz have been picked up by Frag Dominant, but think their name is too cool to drop (and I totally agree.) That wasn't the only pickup, however, as they've removed Ben "STRuK" Kaminski in place of Frank "ridic" Savettiere.

The zomblerz were one of the better teams last season, taking the first seed heading into the playoffs. They were in top form during the regular season, but crashed out of the playoffs early towards a disappointing 5th/6th placing.

Recent Accomplishments:
5-6th place CEVO-P Season 6

Devastation

United States Stephen "sasquatcH" Csikos
United States Matt "ChEekz" Csikos
United States Dan "railm0" Locilento
United States Keith "KwicK" Wickenhauser
United States Todd "anger" Williams

Devastation is one of those teams that has been around the scene forever, and will always be in CEVO-P. They didn't look too hot early on last season, but made a major roster overhaul to start picking up the slack. They snuck into the playoffs with the sixth seed and eliminated the zomblerz to place fourth overall.

Stephen "sasquatcH" Csikos is the star of the show, as he is not only the leader of the team, but puts up incredible numbers for them. If he's playing well, his team will be playing well, and we could see Devastation stealing yet another playoff spot from one of the higher ranked teams.

Recent Accomplishments:
4th place CEVO-P Season 6

x3o

United States Chris "deppy" DePaul
Canada Keven "AZK" Lariviere
Canada Philippe Olivier "PEX" Crepin
United States Mason "mason" Dickens
United States Tarik "rockyte" Elkhatib

Nick Fitz's x3o is another one of last season's playoff teams to be invited back into CEVO-P. They had a really mediocre season, and were plagued by roster issues, but still somehow made the playoffs.

However, like the zomblerz, crashed out of the playoffs early. They seem to have found a solid starting five though, and will be looking to cause upsets this season if any team decides not to take them seriously.

Recent Accomplishments:
5-6th place CEVO-P Season 6
