________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Guest predictions__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Second Nature vs AbsolutionBy: Mark "mrk" Rosenboom. Starting week 6 off on de_nuke is the recent CEVO-Main champions, Second Nature, vs the CAL-Invite/CEVO-Pro veterans Absolution (formerly known as Devastation), including the Csikos brothers and some new yet familiar faces. This has potential to be one of the biggest matches not only all week, but maybe all season. Both teams have impressive records, SN coming in at 6-1, and Absolution with a perfect 6-0. Both teams are comprised off great individual players, but on a map like nuke, it's going to require more than just a good shot to win at this level, and with that said, Second Nature has more experience playing together on this map as Absoluton is using a fresh roster. This match could very well go either way, but I'm going to give SN the edge due to their superior chemistry. ABSOLUTION also known as Devastation has a lot of experience under their belt. They are the invite champions of Season 5, 8 and 9, they know what It takes to win. SecondNATURE recently won cevo-main and is holding a good 6-1 record in invite. They have defiantly improved since last season and will continue too improve. With a map like nuke, the pistol rounds are going to be very important in the rounds to come. With the old ruleset back in place ABSOLUTION will have the advantage from experience. SecondNATURE will be practicing hard and will definitely give ABSOLUTION a run for their money. I predict this match to ABSOLUTION coming close to SecondNATURE. ABSOLUTION 16-10 Player to watch: Second Nature: VaS Absolution: Er1c ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Second Nature vs AbsolutionBy: Blake "RGT" Catanzano. Kicking off week 6 on de_nuke we have easily two of the top teams in CAL-Invite this season, Absolution AKA Devestation and SecondNATURE. Both teams have been around for quite some time now and both maintain numerous accomplishments both in CAL and CEVO. Be on the lookout for Sasquatch of Absolution to improvise some well timed and thought out strats, along with solid execution for the T side. On the other hand SecondNATURE is starting on the CT side and will most likely build alot of momentum that will carry over to the second half. I can see this match being very close and Absolutions experience will most likely prevail in a close vicotory. ABSOLUTION 16-14 Player to watch: Absolution: DUBE ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sure Shot vs Some Cool NameBy: Blake "RGT" Catanzano. Both of these teams seem to be pugging this season of CAL-Invite, but one has seem some sucess and the other...not so much. ScN is sitting at an average 4-3 record which have mostly been decided by 3 or 4 rounds which tells you there winning primarily off individual skill due to the lack of practice. Sure Shot AKA Pugnacity on the other hand seems to be practing somewhat but it really hasn't been working out for them this season, as they sit on a 1-6 record which were all convincing defeats. Sure Shot will be hoping this is the week they turn things around, but the experienced shots on ScN will most likely be too much to overcome. Some Cool Name 16-9 Player to watch: Sure Shot: RaisenBagel Some Cool Name: Pansini ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Flash vs Cyber RevolutionBy: Blake "RGT" Catanzano. A few matches into this season of CAL-Invite, Keyboard Smashers and Cyber Revolution merged. Taking 3 Players from KBS: Glocketeer, Torr and Monkey to meet up with DaZed and Chewbacca from the season 7 Cevo-Pro squad known as Cyber Revolution to finalze a new and even more powerful (online) Cyber Revolution. This week they match up against Flash AKA Ethernet who placed 2nd in this last CAL-Main season. Both teams are sitting at similar records with Flash at 3-3 and Cyber Revolution at 3-2. However, Cyber Rev's record does seem to be decieving as since the merger with KBS they've gone 3-0 with ease. As from experience scrimming the new Cyber Rev as of late, they have a very powerful nuke, espeically the CT side and I dont forsee Flash being able to break it. Be on the lookout for Glockateer to hold it down for Cyber Rev with a strong rifle. Cyber Revolution should take this match with ease and continue the winning streak.
