GotFrag- Recently we had the opportunity to speak with Brad Dick on his decision to bring back Eximius Sports and what CS:S roster he was working on picking up. Devastation recently decided to partner up with Eximius Sports, for the very few who do not know about Devastation they have been competing at the top of the Source scene since the very beginning, consistently placing well every season online. Let that be no mistake, being a local tri-state team, they have competed and won their fair share of LAN events. There current roster consists of

Brad Dick recently announced that Eximius Sports will be going to head to head in an exhibition match against some of Europe's finest, this is the press release.

Eximius Sports [USA], The Last Resort [UK], and Team CoolerMaster [UK] would like to officially announce that they will be playing in an event that is called, “The Shot Heard Round the World.” This event is organized where The United States goes head to head with the Great Britain in many different games.

Eximius Sports and The Last Resort will be playing on August 7th and 8th. The game they will be playing in is Counter-Strike Source. Both organizations have brought many prizes to the table for both days. You will have the opportunity to win these prizes on both of the organizations websites and the sponsor’s websites.

Eximius Sports will be playing Team CoolerMaster in a multiple of games. The games so far scheduled are Counter-Strike Source, Call of Duty 4, & possibly even Team Fortress 2. You will most likely see Eximius Sports with both of those games under their organization by this event.

Team Coolermaster currently having the number one Call of Duty 4 team in the world and a top 10 world ranked Counter-Strike Source team should give Eximius Sports teams quite a run for their money. The good thing is both teams will be giving away prizes for their fans on their websites.

Owner Brad Dick from Eximius Sports says

"We are very excited about these matches that we have scheduled in the month of August with Team CoolerMaster and The Last Resort. Both teams are much respected in their games and it is a privilege to play them in such a great event. The idea of UK vs. USA is intriguing to everyone! Owner Mike Robinson from The Last Resort says

“It’s always great to play top teams around the world but due to ping issues UK teams never really get the chance to play American top teams so for us this is a great challenge to prove ourselves against the yanks and there is no better place to hold this match than the i-series even if the USA team Eximius are playing online the I-series event holders have open the ports for this match so pings should be great for both sides I’m sure it will be a great show for the spec's attending and wish both teams the best of luck and can only hope my beloved TLR get the victory.”

The Last Resort is owned and run by Mike Robinson; the organization itself started in 2003 in England. The current Counter-Strike Source formerly Anoxia squad was picked up by Mike in April and since has been developing into one of the top teams in Europe. Steve “radon” Ryan has become a prominent figure in not only TLR but also in the European community with his dedication to his teammates and his play. The current lineup is one that should do some serious damage at i37. The lineup for the match up against Eximius Sports and at i37 should look something like this.

As for Team CoolerMaster, they are currently ranked number 10 in the world, they are supposed to finish very high in the upcoming i37 tournament. However TLR hopes to take them down. Team CoolerMaster continues to impress the European community and the world with impressive wins over Dignitas and a close loss to Reason Gaming shows this team has what it takes to win the tournament.
