Audio's parents wouldn't let him goto CPL or let him ride with me to there unless they met me. I drove to Corey "adorableaudio" Samples's house, getting lost exactly twice due to horrible rain and traffic which had me sitting in my car for an hour and a half.
Upon my arrival, we sat down for dinner, which was a splendid meal consisting of salad, pasta, and garlic bread. Plus a Coca-Cola beverage.
We sat down and I was barraged with questions, which ranged from how much CPL would cost, to my license plate number on my car (no jokes). I was told I would furnish more information upon request, including but not limited to my mothers home phone number and teammates contact information.
I talked with his parents some about gaming. His father told me he enjoyed gaming and said DOD looked strategic. His mother said that she loved to play Centipede, which is a good game. I was also told many embarressing stories about Corebear which made his face turn red...a lot.
They asked if I drink. Of course not! Nevar!!!
They also suggested that we get a motel room (ooh la la) on the way there and the way back so we (I) wouldn't have to drive as far. Apparently cutiepantsCorey sucks at all things behind the wheel.
The night ended with me receiving all the leftovers, as well as gas money. Also they loved me so Mr. Samples can attend CPL. Hoorays I won the day.
His dad wanted to make a date for golf sometime. I have not played said game in years, but said I did to appease him. They also mentioned that if Corey didn't play DOD so much, he would be less fat.
I'm very impressed that his parents wanted to meet you, asked you all those questions, etc. Most parents don't care enough to do that for their kid(s).
Good job to you for going to meet with them. I would've done the same.
Best Gotfrag read in months.
"...he would be less fat." hahaha
#highball - A show of excess is usually a lack thereof
Lol skwirt, my mom went to the hyatt with us the first time, then both my parents stayed at the gaylord while cam and I competed this last summer... those were different times...
sounds like someone didnt have enough of a tramatic childhood to blame on their parents to make them leave you alone in highschool. Stupid normal people.
A night with the Samples
