You're actually still suspending people for not playing the right maps in preseason? Learn to pick better maps and maybe we'd play them in preseason. You're becoming more of a joke each season, and it's obvious to all.

What is the point anymore of trying new maps in preseason? I'm too old for this shit. I just wanna play good known maps and have fun, nobody cares anymore.
I'm not upset, but I find it funny that we're the only ones that actually played a match. I guess everyone else would rather just not try having fun with the game and forfeit instead.
Playing rr2, though, is actually fun. Or any other map that isn't some stupid custom map with broken sandbags that cal decides to implement for people to quit complaining about maps. And then guess what happens? Nobody even plays their matches!
What's the point in doing that when everybody's opinions are probably neglected? I know for a fact a lot of people complain about wanting new maps, and what happens? Half the teams forfeit when they get it. I'm also certain a good bit were saying they didn't want to play this map, and what happens? CAL forces you to play it or you get a suspension.

Kevin you couldn't be more wrong. You've known and played with me personally for well over 3 years now (XMVC 4 life) any and all suggestions from you to me directly would of definitely been considered, trust me. That goes for the entire community. But did you ever try to contact me? No. Here is the problem instead of working with us the majority of the community works against us. We have the map rule in place so people will play these maps that we are trying to test in preseason and some how provide constructive feedback even though, most of you will just complain and make smartass remarks that we can't take seriously. We are all you have to work with and you are all we have to work with. Why not work together to make CAL better? If the majority of the community could drop the childish shenanigans the league and the community together can make progress towards providing a better competitve environment for DoD.

I have no personal vendetta against any admin, don't get me wrong. Hell, I like all all of you individually. But some of the decisions that are made are just weird. We're the only team that played a match in invite and we get banned? Why not just give a general warning out? I mean, I even said about 5 times in every thread about kettle we were playing another map and no one told me not to! :[

It doesnt matter if you are the only team to play your match in invite, look at all the pub clans that played theirs in cal-o! You should be ashamed of yourselves for not doing what we told you to. We, as cal, do NOT care if you dont like the map. We do NOT care what you have said about the map. You listen to what we say. Have fun for 2 weeks not playing the other AMAZING maps that we have picked for you to play. Good luck!

stealth, I love you, and I see where you are coming from. It is highly appreciated that you guys even bothered to play the match. We as admins are obligated to enforce the rules, and it has always been stated that you cannot play a map out of rotation for whatever reason:

When Brad "Plays for Keeps" Murdock made that thread, most people wanted to see cr44 in Preseason. People like Aether gave good pros and cons about numerous maps, and we really did take that into consideration (not solely based on what he said, of course). Then kettle was brought to our attention, which was a less-buggy version of cr44, hence that map was decided to be used in Preseason.
