i know VS. will reshow it 200 times after it airs on june 1st, but i'm going to be in canadia, WHAT CHANNEL WILL IT BE ON IN THE LAND OF FREE HEALTH CARE?
if that's 55 here, what is that in metric? where is the decimal point on the canadian remote? do i have to calibrate it for cubic meters of maple syrup at sea level?
-In regards to a fight with Emelianenko, Sylvia said upon his signing with Adrenaline, “I have the utmost respect for that guy. He’s ranked No. 1 in the world. I want to challenge myself, and I want to fight him. No doubt in my mind. It’s the best fight out there for the both of us right now. You know he hasn’t fought any No. 1 contenders in a while and I think he needs to be tested and I want to be tested. I think it’s a great fight for me, it’s a great fight for him, and I think we need to make that fight happen.”-
LAUGH
But seriously, Faber is a beast, no matter who he's faced.

ok first WEC is NOT aired on spike it's on TSN. Spike has the rights to TUF and UFN, TSN broadcasts WEC, although I don't know if they broadcast them live or not, I generally just download them afterwards if there's fights I am interested in.
second, what's amusing about anything that tim sylvia said in that post? I don't get the joke here. Pretty much everything he said is accurate. Fedor is #1, sylvia is the best fight available to him at the moment with barnett coming in second (randy is not allowed to fight him until october/november at the earliest) and he hasn't fought any top 10 heavyweights in quite a while. Everything he said is true. I hate tim sylvia and I'm pretty confident he's going to get his arm broken, but I don't understand what's funny about that quote at all.
don't get me wrong, I don't think he's going to be a tough fight for fedor at all, just that he's the best fight fedor can possibly get right now. He beat every decent heavyweight that was in PRIDE other than barnett, and can't fight anyone from the UFC (even though the UFC lost all of what used to be their best heavyweights in arlovski, sylvia, and couture and replaced them with PRIDE heavyweights. LOL) Barnett is the only other legitimate fight and he's been out of action for a while, so they should probably wait until he gets a couple more fights before he fights fedor.
I would've liked to have seen him fight sergei kharitonov back in PRIDE but I guess they were teammates for most of the time that kharitonov was looking like a contender.
Kid Yamamoto signed with DREAM too. Too bad I would've liked to see him fight faber but oh well. All of the best fighters at lightweight and below are really in japan. Faber is the only really standout featherweight, and BJ Penn is probably the only top tier lightweight the UFC really has. Sherk was only able to be champion because of this and the fact that he cuts like 30 pounds and then lays on his much smaller opponents.
as long as faber takes him down quickly he should have no problem winning this fight. If Jens is able to stuff his takedowns he'll probably knock him out. Jens hits really really hard. He probably will not be able to stuff his takedowns though.
