We will be playing group play to get finalized seedings for a double elimination bracket that will take place after group play.
Day 1 will consist of:
All of Group Play and 8-12 matches of the Double Elimination Tournament. Nobody will be knocked out day one regardless.
Day 2 will consist of:
Finishing the Double Elimination tournament and getting through your hangovers and watching some boss HLTV on the huge projector we're going to have set up. Also: consuming vast amounts of food and beverages provided by the fine staff of DiNk's Cafe.
Map List and Group Seedings shall be released shortly.
Hope to make this as much fun as possible.

Since the LAN center will be using the newer video card drivers, brightness and gamma will more likely be set to around 70% and digital vibrance around 50%. All credit of this post goes to Sean Kalas.
The maps for group play will be: dod_donner dod_harrington dod_railroad2_b2
Maps for Double Elimination: I'm not quite sure what order yet, but will consist of: dod_chemille dod_lennonb2 dod_anzio dod_harrington dod_railroad2_b2 and possibly one more map... depending on what you all want.
nice matthew. way to keep your composure and continue preparing everything even with people (including myself) becoming antsy and somewhat immature with the last second dropping of teams, and dodging in some cases. good stuff mang
at w2z, the way the lan center set up computers was so it would dump everything from the dod folder if you restarted the game, (or it crashed in most cases that day) so virtually every person ended up losing either all or a majority of their first person demos. SO, is that how the comps will be set up here too? i know a lot of lan centers do it that way for good reason, but itd be nice if it wasn't like that so that people could be sure to get all of their demos one way or another, as hltvs can be hard to depend on at times for that. (see both x3os, w2z, and every other lan pretty much that didn't have hltvs recording all the matches) THANKS.
Ive been working on doing the groups (judging by what we know now for the teams) and putting together the roundrobin schedule/bracket at work matt... let me know if wanna see what i got so far matttttttttt.
I HIT MY CAPS LOCK BUTTON 4 TIMES AND IM STILL IN BIG LETTER MODE
I want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Matt Rogers for making this whole thing possible. Yay. Also, I still am available to carpool with someone from the south eastern United States if someone needs a ride. North of South Carolina only please!
why andrew? its one of the few teams i like playing...... and I actually think I did tbh. But I really did it by seperating the teams best to worst as best I could.
